The weekend in review – Potluck BBQ & Social Sail

Probably the least windy weekend so far, and what an awesome one it turned out to be!

On Friday night, the barbecues were running hot with the most delicious racks prepared and cooked by Commodore/Chef Dave, supplemented by other foods brought in by you, the members. It was great to see so many contributing and sharing food, stories and lots of laughter.

Inside, Cedric entertained the crowd with life music to celebrate Young 88’s 40th birthday. Yummy cakes and bubbles made this celebration perfect. A great evening with lots happening, lots of sailors and social members involved!

Saturday’s Social Sail/Cruise sent the fleet around the harbour in search of locations and tags to pick up. Everyone had a fun time out cruising around and solving clues. And what a creative bunch of sailors we have – the dress up the fender competition was a hard one to judge with many awesome contributions! Congrats to L’Attitude Adjustment to take home the bragging rights for winning the competition!

It was a fun weekend with a Club full of happy, chatty and vaccinated members đŸ™‚ Great to see and we’re looking forward to the next catch ups. See you soon!
