Day two dawned with a less than inviting forecast of northerlies rising to 35-40 knots. The weather on the harbour was slightly less than the forecast so John and Linda Parrish and the race committee team headed out to the race track to see if anything could be achieved.
After a delay through to lunch time the call was put out for the fleet to head out to the race track. With the wind steady in the early 20kts and with the occassional gust into the late twenties the scene was set for a challenging harbour race.
A number of boats chose to stay ashore but Mark Gordon on Revs in Div A and Brian Cowper in Div B made the most of the day each taking the trifecta of wins on Line, PHRF and Club Handicap.
