What a way to finish the season! Three trophies were up for grabs – the Commodore’s Trophy, the Ambassador’s Trophy and the Navy Cup. 26 diplomatic guests, 4 navy personnel, 18 racing boats, 3 spectator boats, and Caniwi. It was great to see the Ocean Sports boats out too.

Well done to Saucy Sausage for winning the tot.
A massive thank you to Evans Bay Yacht and Motor Boat Club for bringing boats around to take guests out to watch the race. Thanks to Oceans Sports and James Dunlop-Storey for organising wet weather gear and the group of members who helped take it back to Oceans Sports at the end of the day.
Thank you to the race management team that got the race away: Geoff Herd, Shayne Priddle, Kirsty Wood, Paul JD, Paul Rutherford, Mel Zytecka, and Carolyn Stephens.
The season’s burgee which was lowered was a significant one to the history of the Club. In addition to have overseen each race, during the season it flew at half mast for Shirley Martin and Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh.
