Things are well underway for organising the Akaroa race, which starts Thursday 6 February. It’s a number of years since we ran a long race to Akaroa so it’s great to have it back on the racing calendar. Please confirm your entry ASAP in SailSys and also update any compliance requirements.

Akaroa Yacht Club are working to get us on moorings in the harbour where possible. They are putting on a meal at the club on Saturday night so we can have a social time and present results – for those yet to experience Akaroa hospitality you’re in for a treat! We will be wanting to confirm numbers after the Nelson Race for this. Also it would be good to get an idea of who is travelling down as support crew as well. Akaroa Yacht Club will make them feel welcome while waiting for the yachts to finish.
