Sailing safety day

Want to feel more confident and competent on the water? This day is for both crew and skippers to learn more about safety equipment and what to do with it. We’ll run the new Yachting NZ Coastal Personal Safety workshop, Elliot from Barton Marine will be there with some gear to play with. Bring your own inflatable life jacket with you. If you’re offshore crew (or would like to be) this is an ideal day for you but it’s not about racing – if you’d like to do some inshore and coastal cruising then there’s heaps for you as well.
