Club Judge course

John Grace is putting on another one of his great Club Judge courses – hope you made it to onto the participation list!

Course content
The course focuses on skills through exercises, rather than being a lecture series. The emphasis will be on teaching people how to read the rulebook for themselves, rather than just telling them what the rules say. In that way, the course is intended, not only for protest committee members, but also for race officers, umpires, coaches and sailors.

The World Sailing version has appendices that are not in the YNZ book, but which are not necessary for our purposes. It also includes updates to the rules – but to my knowledge, there have been no relevant updates since the YNZ book was printed.
