After a week of wild winds, today dawned calm and warm. It meant a delay to the start of racing for the six boats lined up until ripples could be seen on the water hinting at wind. The course took the fleet into Evans Bay and then over to mark 4 before heading back to Evans Bay and the club finish line.
The winds returned to their true form later in the race and became quite boisterous. It led to some wild sails for a couple of the fleet but luckily everyone arrived back at the club in one piece.
