It could be a quick trip down for the competitors – just as well the Race Officer is flying down to Christchurch tonight.Ā Nine boats headed off to Akaroa: Blink, Gucci, Illusions, Montego Bay 111, Crusader, Satellite Spy,Ā Revs, Transitions and Jive Talkin’ in blustery conditions, all with at least 1 reef in. Satellite Spy appeared to have problems with their mainsail parked on the start line, and were called OCS but drifted back across to the correct side and managed to clear themselves and were seen quickly catching up with the fleet.
