Caniwi Capital Partners – Relationship with RPNYC
In 2013 when the motors on the club safety boat were reaching the end of their useful lives, Troy and the Caniwi team generously donated enough funding to purchase a new motor for our support boat Te Ruru. This funding also secured the naming rights for the vessel. She has been fondly known as Caniwi ever since while she goes about her business of keeping people safe on our magnificent harbour.
In September 2019 Troy and Caniwi Capital partners again donated funding to secure the naming rights for a further 5 years. This enabled RPNYC to once again undertake some much-needed maintenance for her. As can be seen today Caniwi is looking resplendent and ready to continue her work in the harbour and around our Club for many years to come.
RPNYC is immensely grateful to Troy and the team at Caniwi Capital Partners for their continued and generous support. Her official relaunch took place on 31 January at 4pm at the Club.
